Elmwood Park

Back at Elmwood Park again...and it won't be the last time either!  We should be very familiar with this course by the end of the season.  This was a smaller meet (only 4 teams in total), but a good chance to work out and continue to prepare for the latter end of the season.  Unfortunately, many of our seasoned runners were out with an injury, but even so, we finished 3rd overall (not last!!!), so imagine if our other runners had been healthy!  We definitely have a lot of promise.  This meet was significant in that most of our runners achieved their personal best and some improved by significant amounts.  Keep it up, boys!

 

Darryl finished 4th overall with a time of 18:26  This is a personal best for him so far this season.  Way to keep improving, Darryl!

Christian was only 3 seconds behind Darryl and finished 5th overall.  He also achieved his personal best today!  Woohoo!

 

Xavier finished 3rd for the team and 18th overall with a time of 19:50.  This is an entire minute faster than last week's race.  Xavier, you've been holding back on us!  Impressive!

 

Jacob was 21st overall and finished in 20 minutes flat.  Great job, Jacob!

 

Quang was only 3 seconds behind Jacob, finishing 22nd place overall, with a time of 20:03.  Lookin' good!

Raffael pushed himself hard and finished in 20:29.  This was a personal best for him also.  Keep it up!

Isaiah crossed the line in 22:05.  Good job!

Lars finished his race in 22:26.  This was a personal best for him, too!  Fantastic!

 

Johnathan followed Lars for the team and finished in 22:58.     Nice run!!

 

Victor's final time was 23:56.  This was over one minute faster than last Friday's race - IMPRESSIVE!!!

The next race is Tuesday at Westmont.
