Another beautiful day!  Hard to believe it still feels like summer.  No one is complaining, mind you.  

This was another one of our tough meets, and one of the largest.  However, Walther Christian Academy held their own and earned three medals for their team.  Impressive!


It's also hard to believe that this meet was actually within the Chicago city limits!  Beautiful park!

By the way, the stats finally became available late Sunday afternoon.  There seems to be several problems, however. The reporting website said there were only 63 runners in the Freshman Boys race, and I'm pretty sure that's not correct because neither Jose P., Joey, nor Zach are listed with results (Plus, it looked like a lot more than 63 runners!).  Results were also missing for Nessa.  It also appears there was an error in the recording of James', Jaylin's and Anders' times.  I will recheck the website again in a few days and see if it has been corrected.

Jack came in 17th place with a time of 12:51.67.

Next up, Frosh-Soph Girls (3 miles):

Another lone runner:  Tamron

Tamron was 41st out of 101.  Time = 24:00.84

Next up, Frosh-Soph Boys (3 miles):

Eric was 8th out of 131 runners!!  His time was 17:20.67.

Mario was 35th with a time of 18:47.58.

Jose wasn't far behind...39th place, 19:27.43.

Mitch was 47th with a time of 19:47.26.

James & Jaylin finished in 21:20.33 and 21:20.39 respectively (???)

Anders finished strong as well, but his time was not recorded correctly.

                   

By the way, the boys earned 6th place out of 16 teams.  Pretty impressive considering the competition!

Final time was 15:05.85

Crossed the finish line at 16:06.31

Wrapped it up in 16:51.76

Ended up with 16:53.72
