The Mane Event
at Lisle High School

Today was our first 5K of the season for the girls; many of the boys already ran one at the beginning of the year.  It's a great spectator course as it gives us many places to stop and cheer on the runners, but it is one of the more difficult races for the athletes since it includes a killer hill (or two) and the extra mileage that a 5K provides.  However, in spite of those factors, everyone put in a super effort.  See below for the photos and results.

Though fall is already here, this tree is still hanging on to it's green leaves as well!

Lisle HS is surrounded by a beautiful and scenic park.

Looks like the team might have their own comfort dog!

If anyone ever sees that I've made an error in recording the times, please let me know ASAP.  After awhile the numbers all start to blur together!
