It was supposed to rain today, but it didn't, so it ended up being a great day for a race.  And race we did!  The majority of our runners achieved their personal best...AGAIN!  This is what it's all about...continued improvement over the course of the season.  This is exactly what needs to happen.  Way to go, guys!  Keep it up!

We were limited in the photographer category this week.  Thanks to Mrs. Lamberty for stepping up to fill in the gap!

 Varsity Boys:
Darryl was first to cross the line for the team, finishing 37th overall (out of 92 runners) and achieving his new personal best of 17:44.  Fantastic!

Jacob finished his course in 18:21, only 1 second away from his personal best.  Great job!
Christian was only 0.2 seconds behind Jacob.  This was a personal best for him today.  Wonderful!
Xavier also achieved his best time to date, finishing in 19 flat.  Wow!

Gus crossed the line in 19:08.  He continues to cut time at each competition.  Amazing!

Raffael ended up with 19:27...again, his personal best to date.  Tremendous!
 Next up, Open Boys:
There were 127 runners in this race.

Jonathan ran his 3-mile course in 20:42.  Another personal best!

Lars was only 0.1 seconds behind Jonathan.  This was also his best time to date!

Aaron crossed the finish line in 21:49 - you guessed it, also his personal best!

Chris finished in 24:42 - and he also joins everyone else by achieving his best so far for the season!
No medals or ribbons today, but everyone deserves one, no doubt.  Great job, guys, in pushing yourselves to be better every week.  That is the definition of success!

Conference will be this next Saturday.  Watch for Coach's emails for more details.  Hope to see you all then.
