The Mane Event

Time once again for the "Mane Event" at Lisle High School.  Typically there are over 140 runners per race from schools of all sizes, so the competition is steep.  Thankfully the rain that we had experienced all week finally decided to head elsewhere and we had a beautiful, though somewhat chilly, fall day.
As usual, I could not resist getting in some of the fall colors.

One of the hills that is climbed during the race.

And as usual, Lisle's favorite caption (posted at the bottom of the previous hill!).
