September 3, 2011: Concordia Classic, Mequon, WI

Preceded and followed by rainstorms, the weather for all races stayed dry, albeit a little muggy.  But weather aside, it was a great meet.  The girls captured 4th place for their team with two girls in the top 20, and the boys earned 6th place overall with one boy finishing in 5th place!  The girls did a great job of improving their times significantly over last year.  Two of them actually took more than 2 minutes off their previous times!  The overall reduction for the girls' team was 6 minutes, 6 seconds.  (Sorry boys, as of this posting I don't have access to your times, but will post them later as they are passed along to me.)

I apologize ahead of time for the blurry pictures.  Does anyone have a suggestion for a camera I can buy that reduces the effects of a shaky hand or running objects???  I am seriously thinking of investing in a decent camera, but until then...
