We couldn't have asked for better weather: not too hot, not too cold. At least it was comfortable for us spectators! This was the first three-mile course. It can get a little boring for the runners, going 'round the same loop three times, but it's a great course for those of us who are cheering you on because we get to see you several times before you cross the finish line.

Contrary to the usual way of doing things, the boys went first this time. The girls were still waiting on a bus from Joliet to arrive, so to keep things from running too late, the order was changed around.
