Elmwood Park High School
Tiger Invitational
What a day!
Everyone
got their PR today. That's pretty amazing! It was a beautiful day for
a race as well - no complaints there, especially after last week's
rain.
Due to a missing battery, I
missed the first race while standing in line at Best Buy, but Mrs. Viise stepped in and got pictures of the Varsity boys for me in my absence. And alumnus, Ale, helped out with pictures toward the end of the competition as I had to be away for a previous commitment.
As you know, I had to fill in with substitute pictures until I got the ones I missed, but I'll keep those in here and just add in the the latest additions.

Don't let his size fool you! Darryl cut his time down to 17:56, first time ever being sub-18.

Next was Jose...
Next was Jose...
Welcome back, Jose!
This was Jose's first race of the season...not bad at all, finishing in 18:41. The rumor I heard on the street was that he had to be carried off the finish line though...I hope this doesn't mean you're back on the injured list, Jose!
