2015-2016
The 2015-2016 Season began with our first meet at Elmwood Park High School. The returning team has welcomed several new freshman and a transfer student to the roster.
Let's meet the team!
Varsity Girls:

Tamron represented Walther well, placing 40th out of 87 runners. (There was a technical difficulty, so I do not have Tamron's time for this race. If someone got it, please let me know!)
Next up, Varsity Boys:
Kobe is a returning junior.
Jaylin is also
a returning junior.
Mitch is a senior this year.
James is
also a senior.
Eric, also a senior, is hoping to to recover completely from his injuries so he can run this year!
Kevin recently
transferred back to
Walther; he is a
junior.
Jack is another one of our juniors.
(Aaron is another junior, but he could not make it to the meet today.)

Mitch finished 14th overall, earning himself a ribbon, with a time of 11:43 for the 2 mile course. You're off to a great start, Mitch!
Jaylin was not far behind, coming in 19th overall, with a time of 11:50. Way to go!

Jack was fighting some foot pain, but pushed through, finishing in 12:32. Way to endure!
James had an awesome kick at the end, finishing in 13:35.
Kevin completed his race in 17:14. Great effort, Kevin!

Jamila did a great job on her first race,
finishing in 18:17.
Claudia cut her time down a lot compared to last year's pace. Supurb! She finished in 18:19, right behind Jamila.
Tommila kept at it and crossed the finish line in 23:37. Way to go!
